Somewhere on Route 66; Yukon OK maybe. They sell countertops.

Giant Pop bottle at Pops, very probably the most beautiful modernist gas station on Earth. Near Edmond OK.

Luscious, sculptural use of pop bottles. Looks like a museum installation.

Steph, Allison and Lightnin' McQueen.  All these celebrity sightings!

Steph and I visited the Route 66 Interpretive Center. Which was closed. So we each did an interpretive dance on their front walkway. Here, Stephanie describes the Westward migration during the Great Depression.

Ed Galloway's 90 Foot Totem Pole Park. The meme of giant tall divinities is rampant in Oklahoma; social theory types are free to hypothesize why...

Sears mail order house in Chelsea Oklahoma. I think there are some of these, or houses made from Sears plans contemporary to this, in Marble Falls.

Here's Posey sauntering around while I'm taking pitchers. Okay, so may hand-editing doesn't seem to make the picture any better.

I really didn't plan to get a bunch of pictures of Posey. She just uses her cat-superpower of finding where is in the middle of everything.
